An LED display project usually involves a manufacturer, an importer, an engineer, a structure, an electrician, an installer, content and support. When those are eight different suppliers, the problem is always someone else’s. SmartLed is the only integral developer of LED and LCD solutions in Colombia: engineering, product design, project management, manufacturing and installation come out of the same plant in Medellín, and the responsibility is one.
Engineering, design and manufacturing in Medellín
We don’t assemble screens: we develop solutions. Every screen is designed for its site, manufactured, powered on, burned in and calibrated at the plant before going to site. No intermediaries between development and your project.
Seven steps, one responsible party
1. Engineering and design
Site visit, viewing distance, pixel pitch, resolution, structure and power. Formal proposal with technical data sheet.
2. Manufacturing in Medellín
Production at our plant with power-on tests, burn-in and calibration before dispatch.
3. Structure
Steel structure or aluminum profiles calculated for the weight and wind at the site.
4. Electrical installation
Commercial pre-sizing under NTC 2050 and RETIE, and coordination with the project's certified electrician.
5. Assembly and calibration
Installation, wiring, alignment and pixel-by-pixel calibration on site.
6. Content and training
Control system setup, content management and operator training.
7. Maintenance and warranty
Warranty handled in Colombia, spare parts in stock and preventive maintenance plans.
